Filmmaker Kemi Adetiba has announced the commencement of pre-production for the third installment of her acclaimed thriller, King of Boys, emphasizing that it will be elevated in every conceivable aspect. The 43-year-old shared the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Kemi revealed that new characters would be introduced, alongside a few returning from the previous parts, while assuring that the film’s impact would remain consistent. She expressed her honor in returning to tell this story and emphasized the heightened quality of the new installment.
In her words: “New characters getting introduced, and a few old ones returning… But the KOB impact remains the same. Actually, scratch that. The new KOB submission is ELEVATED in every way you could imagine… And I’m honoured to be able to come back to tell this story.

The lead actress, Sola Sobowale, portrays the character of Eniola Salami, an ambitious crime lord and businesswoman, in the first part of King of Boys released in 2018. She reprised the role in the second part titled The Return Of The King, which was presented as a seven-part series on Netflix in 2021.
