TVC Communications stands as the esteemed parent company overseeing the operations of TVC News, TVC Entertainment channel, Max FM, and Adaba FM, esteemed pillars in the Nigerian media landscape.
Under Mr. Hanlon’s visionary leadership since his appointment in 2017, the organization has witnessed remarkable growth and transformative changes across organizational, infrastructural, and financial fronts.
The board’s statement heralded Mr. Hanlon’s remarkable achievements, noting his pivotal role in spearheading an extraordinary 330% growth across all TV, radio, and social media platforms. This exponential surge catapulted the daily audience from 5.3 million viewers, listeners, and readers to an astounding 23 million by December 2023. Additionally, Mr. Hanlon’s adept management led to substantial improvements in operating costs and revenue, culminating in the company’s commendable profitability during his tenure.
To ensure a seamless transition, Victoria Ajayi, the proficient deputy chief financial officer, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Hanlon, effective May 1, 2024.
