Actor Yul Edochie revealed a deeply personal and spiritual experience following the heartbreaking loss of his son, Kamibilichukwu. In a recent video shared on his YouTube channel, the 41-year-old recounted the moments when he felt shattered and alone after the tragic incident.
Edochie shared that he was alone in his Lagos home, grappling with the profound pain of losing his son. It was during this vulnerable moment that he claimed to have received a divine communication from God. According to him, God reassured him of His unwavering love, emphasizing that there were reasons for his son’s untimely passing.
In the video, Edochie recounted God’s message to him, stating, “I shouldn’t think He doesn’t love me. I love you, and I have always loved you and I will always love you, but I have my reasons for letting this happen.” The actor further detailed God’s explanation that, although he might not comprehend the reasons at that moment, understanding would come in due time.
God, as per Edochie’s account, conveyed that the pain he was experiencing was part of a transformative journey. The actor shared that God indicated he needed the pain for the forthcoming journey and encouraged him to offer praise even in the midst of the grief.
Edochie highlighted God’s permission to cry but emphasized the importance of rising after tears, wiping them away, and persevering because he was a soldier.
Kambilinachukwu, Edochie’s son, tragically passed away on March 30, succumbing to a seizure while playing football with his schoolmates.
