The family of Yoruba actor Quadri Oyebamiji Tolani, fondly known as Sisi Quadri, has announced the upcoming eighth-day Fidau (prayer for the deceased), scheduled to take place at the D.C School, Araromi in Iwo, Osun State, on Saturday, March 9. This solemn event aims to honor and remember the beloved actor, as revealed in a heartfelt announcement shared on Instagram.

Sisi Quadri sadly departed on Friday, March 1, at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso (LAUTECH). He was laid to rest in his hometown, Agbowo area of Iwo, Osun State, in accordance with Islamic customs and traditions.

According to his brother, Muktar Oyebamiji, Quadri bravely battled with malaria and persistent hiccups before his eventual passing, leaving behind a legacy cherished by many.

Renowned for his distinctive sarcasm on screen, Sisi Quadri made a significant impact in the world of Yoruba cinema. His breakthrough came in 2004 with the epic Yoruba movie, “Seranko Seniyan,” followed by a meteoric rise in 2020 with the release of the movie “Ebudola,” alongside actress Funmi Awelewa.
