Abductors request N100 million ransom for kidnapped pupils and teachers in Ekiti

The abductors of five pupils and four staff members from Apostolic Faith Group of Schools in Ekiti have demanded a ransom of N100 million for their release, as confirmed by Boje Olanireti, the principal of the secondary section of the school.

The victims were kidnapped in the Emure community of Ekiti State on Monday. On the same day, two Ekiti monarchs were killed by gunmen, and another narrowly escaped.

The kidnappers initially demanded N10 million per victim from the husband of one of the teachers but later increased the ransom to N100 million when contacting the headmaster.
