A startling revelation unfolded in the courtroom as a witness identified only as TKJ stepped forward, alleging that suspended University of Calabar (UNICAL) Faculty of Law Dean, Prof. Cyril Ndifon, pressured her into compromising her integrity for the sake of admission into the institution.

TKJ, a key witness in the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC)’s case against Ndifon, detailed her harrowing experience before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja. Led by the commission’s lawyer, Osuobeni Akponimisingha, she recounted how she initially reached out to Ndifon to offer condolences for the loss of his mother, only for their interactions to take a sinister turn.
