Singer Tiwa Savage has asserted that her colleague, Davido, is displeased with her friendship with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu. Tiwa disclosed this in a letter dated January 9, addressed to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fayode Adegoke Mustapha.
In the letter, Tiwa explained that Davido contacted her manager and issued threats of physical harm after she shared a video of herself and Sophia on her Instagram story on December 23. Tiwa revealed that their common acquaintances informed her that Davido was upset because she chose to maintain her relationship with Sophia despite their ongoing dispute. Sophia had been subtly shading Davido since he announced his marriage to Chioma Rowland.
The letter stated, “The events of the day have also led to a barrage of calls and messages from our mutual connections asking me what I did to Mr David Adeleke that he is upset that I choose to maintain a relationship with Imaed’s mother, who he’s having issues with, and also painting the exchange to look like I was the aggressor. He also told our mutual connections to warn me to ‘be careful in Lagos because he is going to f*ck me up.”
Tiwa emphasized that Davido should be held responsible if any harm befalls her or her family. Additionally, the two artists have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
