President Bola Tinubu has given the green light to rename the M18 road infrastructure in Guzape District, Abuja, in honor of the legendary novelist, Chinua Achebe.
Announcing this significant decision during his speech at the road’s inauguration in Abuja on Saturday, June 8, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of commemorating Achebe’s legacy.
The news was shared by Olusegun Dada, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, who highlighted the president’s commitment to honoring Achebe’s contributions to Nigerian literature and culture.
In a symbolic gesture, the renaming of the road serves as a fitting tribute to Achebe’s enduring impact and literary prowess, ensuring that his name continues to resonate within Nigeria’s cultural landscape for generations to come.
