The burial date for Abdul Imoyo, spokesperson for Access Bank, has been disclosed

Abdul Imoyo, who also served as the head of media relations at Access Bank, passed away on December 17, 2023, at First Cardiology in Ikoyi, Lagos, following a brief illness.

According to a statement released by ACAMB and signed by its president, Rasheed Bolarinwa, a service of songs in honor of Imoyo will take place at Harbour Point Event Center, 4 Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos, on January 17. Subsequently, a funeral service is scheduled for January 18 at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Bolarinwa emphasized that Imoyo, a highly esteemed Corporate Media Manager and Journalist, leaves behind a legacy of excellence in the field of Corporate Communications.

Imoyo, who had previously served as the vice chairman of the Capital Market Correspondents Association of Nigeria, held the position of finance editor at BusinessDay from May 2004 to July 2010.

Having obtained a B.Sc in public administration from Lagos State University (1998-2002) and later a master of business administration from the University of Lagos, Imoyo joined Access Bank in 2014 as a corporate communications manager.
