Shettima’s stepmother passes away at the age of 69

Vice President Kashim Shettima is mourning the passing of his stepmother, Hauwa Kormi, who passed away at the age of 69. Mrs. Kormi’s demise occurred in the early hours of Thursday, as conveyed by Shettima’s spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha.

After a prolonged illness, Mrs. Kormi left behind a legacy survived by five children, numerous stepchildren, and grandchildren. The burial has been scheduled for 4 pm on Thursday at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State, as mentioned by Mr. Nkwocha.
