Controversial artist Portable finds himself in the hospital once again, following an attack for purportedly failing to fulfill a paid performance commitment. The 29-year-old, who sustained serious injuries, shared videos from his hospital bed on Friday via his Instagram story.
Expressing intense pain, Portable conveyed a plea for prayers, emphasizing his desire not to meet an untimely demise. In his Instagram post, he lamented the challenges he faces, attributing them to those who wish for his failure. Despite the adversity and the lack of protection from haters, Portable asserted his resilience with reliance on God.
Opening up about his ordeal, he explained that he hasn’t been well since the recent assault, moving from one pain to another. He urged followers to pray for his complete healing, citing the need for divine intervention.
The incident on January 21 involved an attack on the Zazu singer for allegedly refusing to refund N3.5 million related to a music collaboration. It’s worth noting that Portable had been hospitalized in December 2023 upon his return to Nigeria from the UK.
