Senior pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre stirred controversy on Sunday when he questioned the authenticity of a woman’s testimony during a church service, labeling it as “fake”.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the woman claimed to be the first graduate in her family and asserted that she obtained a law degree from the National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN), despite facing spiritual opposition.
However, when Enenche pressed her about the specifics of her degree, she responded with “BSc”, prompting the pastor to immediately dismiss her testimony, stating, “Your testimony is a lie. There is nothing like a BSc in Law.”
Enenche’s rebuke was firm, emphasizing the importance of truthfulness in testimonies shared at the church altar. He warned against the consequences of sharing false testimonies, asserting the church’s commitment to authenticity.
