Deyemi Okanlawon explains why Kunle Remi was not cast in the latest film “All’s Fair in Love”

Actor-turned-filmmaker Deyemi Okanlawon opened up about why his friend Kunle Remi didn’t make it into the cast of his latest film, “All’s Fair in Love,” during an interview on the Your View breakfast show on TVC.

In the interview, Deyemi shared that despite their close friendship, Kunle wasn’t able to join the cast due to his busy schedule planning his wedding at the time.

“Kunle couldn’t make it to this film, we tried, we worked through schedules, he was planning his whole wedding and we couldn’t make it happen then,” he explained.

The film, which Deyemi produced, is set to hit cinemas on February 14th and boasts an impressive cast including Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson, Juliet Ibrahim, and more.

“All’s Fair in Love” marks Deyemi’s debut project since announcing his decision to transition from acting to producing his movies, showcasing his dedication to his craft and creative vision.
