Bola Atta, the CEO of UBA Foundation, has issued a heartfelt call for prayers for Titi Ogunbanjo, wife of the late former group chairman of Nigeria Exchange (NGX) Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

Despite facing the grief of her husband’s tragic demise in a helicopter crash on February 9, Mrs. Ogunbanjo marked a new chapter in her life on Monday, celebrating her birthday.

Tragically, Mr. Ogunbanjo lost his life alongside Access Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe, along with Wigwe’s wife Chizoba and first son Chizi, in the same fateful accident.

In a compassionate Instagram post, Atta urged the public to lift Titi in their prayers during this trying time, acknowledging the profound love shared between her and her late husband.

“Titi darling, it’s your birthday today and even though you are not celebrating, I hope everyone who sees this post will say a prayer for you and remember the deep love you and Bimbo share ❤️❤️ May he rest in God’s bosom until you both meet again,” she expressed.

Ogunbanjo’s legacy as the group chairman of NGX Group, coupled with his esteemed contributions to Nigeria’s capital markets and corporate law, were recognized on October 11, 2022, when ex-President Muhammadu Buhari conferred upon him the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
