AAC Urges Public to Stay Calm, Calls on Governor Makinde to Ensure Safety of Lives and Property

In a statement signed by Kayode Babayomi, AAC Oyo Chair, the party emphasized the need for collective efforts in responding to the incident. The AAC urged medical professionals, security personnel, and volunteers to assist in rescue operations and cautioned against panic, emphasizing that panicking could exacerbate the situation.

While acknowledging the ongoing speculation about the cause of the explosion and the reported casualties, the AAC called for independent efforts to uncover the root cause. The statement also reminded the Seyi Makinde-led administration of the core objectives of government – securing lives, protecting property, and ensuring the welfare of the people.
