In a commitment to transparency and fairness, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has opened a formal channel for public submissions regarding the 10 lead Private Tour Operators selected to administer the 2025 Hajj operations.
A press statement issued by Fatima Sanda Usara, Assistant Director of Information and Publication at NAHCON, on behalf of Chairman and CEO Prof. Abdullahi Usman Saleh, emphasized the Commission’s dedication to impartial decision-making.
“NAHCON invites individuals or groups with credible evidence that may question the qualification of any or all of the selected lead companies to come forward with their claims by Friday, January 3rd, 2025,” the statement read. “This period will allow for a thorough review of the selection process and enable the Commission to take appropriate action if the allegations are substantiated.”
The Commission assured the public that all submissions will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and that all investigations will be conducted impartially.
This move follows NAHCON’s recent announcement of the 10 lead companies and the approval of 118 Private Tour Operators for 2025 Hajj and Umrah operations.
By inviting public input, NAHCON demonstrates its commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent Hajj operation for all Nigerian pilgrims.
