Former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, delivered a stark warning at the 2024 Leadership Colloquium and Award hosted by the Akinjide Adeosun Foundation. Speaking on the theme, “Economic Asphyxiation – The Wisdom of Authentic Leaders,” Ambode emphasized the critical need for unity among Nigerians to combat the prevailing insecurity in the country.

The event, held at Alliance Francaise, Ikoyi, saw Ambode urging for a collective effort to address the nation’s challenges. He dismissed the notion of pinning the blame solely on President Bola Tinubu for Nigeria’s economic hardships, calling for an end to divisive rhetoric and a patriotic approach to nation-building.
