On Saturday, Tony Elumelu, the businessman and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, welcomed Afrobeat sensation Rema to his residence in Lagos. Dressed in a black suit, Mr. Elumelu warmly greeted the Afrobeat superstar, expressing his support for Rema’s burgeoning career.
During their interaction, the billionaire assured Rema, “You’re only just beginning, and we’re here to support you,” as they shook hands. In a gesture of appreciation, the ‘Calm Down’ singer presented gifts to Mr. Elumelu, expressing gratitude for his support to young talents.
Tony Elumelu shared photos from Rema’s visit on his Instagram account, captioning the post with, “Look who stopped by @heisrema!” Additionally, Owen Omogiafo, the President of Transcorp Group, who was also present during the visit, shared pictures and videos on her Instagram account. Both Mrs. Omogiafo and Rema hail from Edo State.
