Canadian rapper Aubrey Graham, popularly known as Drake, has seen his luxurious Toronto home, dubbed “The Embassy,” overtaken by severe rainstorms in the city. The rapper shared a video on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, showcasing the impact of the flooding on his 50,000 square-foot mansion, which was designed by renowned Canadian architect Ferris Rafauli.
In the video, Drake’s expansive home appears to be significantly affected by the torrential rain. He light-heartedly joked about the situation on Instagram, saying the rushing water “better be espresso martini.” The footage shows an unidentified man struggling to keep glass double doors closed as water gushes from what appears to be a closet into a bathroom.
Toronto has recently experienced record rainfall due to three massive storms, leading to widespread power outages and displacing many residents. Drake’s experience highlights the severe weather conditions affecting the area.
