The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) is calling on the Federal Government to permit its members to directly source petroleum products to alleviate the current challenges in the sector.

In his message commemorating Nigeria’s 64th Independence, Mr. Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman of IPMAN’s Enugu Depot, which oversees Anambra, Ebonyi, and Enugu States, made the appeal during a speech in Awka.

Anyaso highlighted that the pricing and availability of petroleum products are primarily dictated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. “At present, we can only sell products based on the prices we receive, and we have limited influence over key factors affecting price and availability,” he explained.
