Singer 2Baba has shed light on the reasons behind his departure from his long-standing partnership with Efe Omorogbe, the CEO of talent management firm Now Muzik, spanning over two decades.
The news broke through a joint statement shared on Instagram by Now Muzik on Wednesday, disclosing a mutual decision to terminate their collaboration with immediate effect.
Omorogbe, in the statement, expressed appreciation for the privilege of working alongside 2Baba, highlighting the deep bond that transcended professional boundaries.
2Baba reciprocated the sentiment, acknowledging the significant contributions of Omorogbe and the entire Now Muzik team to his illustrious career. While expressing gratitude, he also acknowledged the inevitability of change and evolution in the entertainment industry.
He stated, “Everything I’ve been able to achieve is a result of the support of so many people and organizations working with me to bring my talent and vision to life. Now Muzik is one of such companies, and I couldn’t be more grateful to them.”
With this transition, 2Baba will now be represented by his new management company, Hypertek Digital, marking a new chapter in his remarkable journey in the music industry.
